“Videon visar öppna SM i Eldskulptur ”
For immediate release The team of Sweden at the International snow sculpture event of the Quebec winter Carnival (Canada), represented by Edwin Boeck (captain), Lars Fager et Axel Linden, won 3 mentions this Sunday in Quebec City. Their sculpture is called «Snowfall » and represented a frozen dream where three levels of horizontal movement flurry up vertical falls of endless quietness.
Mr Boeck, the captain of the team, is from the city of Kalmar. He is sculpting snow since 1994 and came to the snow sculpture event of the Quebec winter carnival in 1997 and 1998. His teamers are sculpting with him since a few years. It's their first stay in Quebec City. The Swedish team won the volunteers' mention, the artists' mention and the 2nd place from the jury.
